Key West Pride — June 2-6. The theme of what has become one of the largest LGBTQ events in the U.S. is “Celebrate The One Human Family.” This celebration of freedom, open-mindedness and diversity features dozens of events. www.gaykeywestfl.com.

CFK Swim Around Key West — Select days June 11 through Sept. 5, 7:30 a.m.-3:30 p.m. A 12.5-mile endurance swim, open to individuals and relay teams, around the island of Key West through Atlantic Ocean and Gulf of Mexico waters. Organized by the College of the Florida Keys. swimaroundkeywest.org.

I Love Stock Island Festival — June 16-20. This five-day festival is to feature one-of-a-kind Stock Island-inspired activities and authentic immersive experiences. Stock Island is just across the Cow Key Channel Bridge from Key West. ilovestockisland.org.

VFW Fishing Tournament — June 18-20. A family fun tournament, this event awards up to $3,000 for the heaviest dolphin. All proceeds benefit disabled and needy veterans in Monroe County.
