Cool Duo will heat up the Schooner Wharf stage on Thursday, Aug. 17, from 7 to 11 p.m. Sam Ramos and Carl Peachy will play Motown, Detroit Funk, classic rock and of course, all your island favorites. Come on down and be prepared to move, groove and dance the night away dockside. Sam will also be performing on Monday, Aug. 21, with a special guest musician.

Fridays through Sundays from noon till 5 p.m. stalwart Key West troubadour Michael McCloud kicks off afternoons with humorous repartée and original songs that exemplify life at this tropical latitude. Michael is backed by seasoned instrumentalists Captain Carl Peachy on guitar and Professor Pete at the piano. You can also catch Michael solo Thursdays from noon to 5 p.m. at Schooner Wharf.

 

 

Friday, Aug. 18 and Saturday, Aug. 19, The Remnants, with Gary Hempsey, Terry Cassidy and Hanna Compier, will perform at Schooner Wharf from 7 p.m. to midnight. Their sound is acoustic rock and classic American songbook with a touch of Bluegrass. Something for everyone.

On Sunday, Aug. 20, the steel pan Caribbean and reggae sound of FrankenDread will fill the air at Schooner Wharf from 7 to 11 p.m. Come sway to reggae.

Raven Cooper is a favorite local musician, a talented guitar player and singer with a wide range of vocal styles. Raven’s diverse singing ability rivals an earthy Janis Joplin, orchestral Julie Andrews and bluesy Billy Holiday. Playing an eclectic mix of jazz, country, blues and more, Raven has something for everyone in the place. Her interaction with the audience is always a spontaneous experience and amusing fun. Come down to Schooner Wharf Monday, Aug. 21, from noon to 5 p.m. and Wednesday, Aug. 23, from 7 to 11 p.m.

 

 

Gary Hempsey hails from South Philadelphia but spent his formative years doing Grateful Dead covers in San Francisco and Vegas. He’s at Schooner Wharf performing classic acoustic rock with a twist on Tuesday, Aug. 22, from noon to 5 p.m.

Gary Hempsey and Terry Cassidy will be performing on Wednesday, Aug. 23, from noon to 5 p.m. The duo plays acoustic rock and American songbook with a touch of blue grass.

Tom Taylor and Anthony Gallucio will entertain with classic and Generation X Rock on Tuesday, Aug. 23, from 7 to 11 p.m. From new covers to favorite oldies from the ’60s, the duo is known for its vocal style and rhythmic drive. ¦
