Every Thursday from 10 a.m. until 2 p.m., a diverse vendor village springs to life at the Truman Waterfront Park. This weekly market features fresh fruit and produce grown in Homestead, eat-in or take-away food, artisanal meats and cheeses, locally made goods, native plants and orchids, natural soaps, clothing, art, crafts and so much more. Well-behaved pets are welcome and parking is free with a Monroe County resident sticker.
Wow, cool. I didn’t know they grow potatoes in Homestead. That is really totally excellent. If that doesn’t disprove climate change, I don’t know what does.
