Key West – Back to (Ab)normal

As more and more visitors make their way to our tropical paradise, Key West is starting to feel a little more “normal” every day. Last week, the Monroe County Board of County Commissioners voted unanimously to require masks anywhere with a roof overhead — a rule that Key West had adopted as soon as the checkpoints at the entrance to the Florida Keys came down. The requirement hasn’t seemed to damper our social spirits, though. The new rainbow crosswalks at Petronia and Duval streets render the main drag (no pun intended) as colorful as ever and tourists and locals alike are just glad to get back to visiting their favorite places, even with their new accessories.

Looks like a few of those Key West Coppers could stand to run a few miles and eat some chicken & rice!
